• Plastic pint cups are the sixth-most commonly found plastic item in Britain’s rivers, and the eighth on the nation’s beaches

Sheffield Action on Plastic are calling on all Sheffield venues due to take part in this year’s Tramline Fringe to adopt and use reusable cups.
For every 1 million reusable event cups used, 1000 tonnes of C02e emissions and 300 tonnes waste could be avoided.

Sheffield Action on Plastic own 5,000 reusable cups and are working with Circulayo in Derby who can set up venues with the ability to run a simple, cashless deposit return scheme so that cups are returned and aren’t lost.
